Back in Stock – Notification Management
Overview
The Back in Stock feature allows merchants to capture customer interest in out-of-stock products and notify them when the items are available again. Merchants can customize notification buttons, manage customer signup fields, and automate or manually send notifications.
This page consists of two sections:
- Notification Settings – Configure notification buttons, customer input fields, and notification preferences.
- Campaign – Set up automated notification sequences to increase sales.
Notification Settings
Selecting Out-of-Stock Products
Merchants can select products or collections for which customers can sign up to receive stock availability alerts.
- All Selected – Selects all out-of-stock products for notifications.
- Select Product – Choose a specific product to enable back-in-stock notifications.
- Select Collection – Select an entire collection to enable notifications for all out-of-stock products within it.
Notify Button Customization
Merchants can customize the Back in Stock button to match their store’s branding.

Sending Notifications to Customers

Thank You Message
Merchants can send an automatic thank-you email to customers who sign up for notifications.
- This message confirms the customer’s interest and provides additional engagement opportunities.

Merchants can send multiple reminder notifications to customers who signed up for alerts. This feature helps maximize sales conversions by ensuring customers are reminded about restocked items.
How the Notification Sequence Works:
- The first notification is sent immediately when the product is back in stock.
- If the customer does not purchase, reminder notifications can be scheduled.
- Reminders are sent only if the product is still in stock and the customer has not purchased it.

1. Enabling Back-in-Stock Notifications for Products
- Go to the Back in Stock settings.
- Select the out-of-stock products or collections.
- Customize the Notify Me button (text, color, background).
- Configure customer signup fields (email, phone number, additional fields).
- Choose whether to send notifications automatically or manually.
- Save the settings.

- Enable automated notifications for back-in-stock products.
