The Message Settings in the TCA Multi Terms and Conditions App allows you to customize the error messages displayed when customers fail to agree to the terms and conditions. You can configure both the behavior and text for error messages to suit your store’s preferences.
1. Error Message Behavior
Choose how error messages should be displayed when a customer does not accept the terms and conditions:
Alert Popup Message: Displays an error as a popup alert.
Example: “Please agree to the terms and conditions before proceeding.”
Inline Popup Message: Displays the error message inline near the checkbox area.
Example: A visible message under the checkbox, such as “You must agree to the terms before continuing.”
2. Alert Text
Customize the exact text displayed in the Alert Popup Message.
Ensure the message is clear and informs the customer about the required action.
Example:
“You must accept our terms to complete this action.”
“Please agree to the terms and conditions before making a purchase!”
