Configure Settings

The Configure Settings section allows you to tailor the sample display rules according to your preferences. This ensures that the sample offerings align with your store’s needs and enhances the overall shopping experience for your customers. Follow these steps to set up your sample display rules:

1. Select Display Option
Choose how you want to display samples in your store:

1. Show samples in their own special box
   • Use this option if you want to add samples for different products and manage them separately at checkout.
2. Show samples with your cart items
   • Use this option if you prefer to offer samples alongside other products in the cart.

Option 1: Show Samples in Their Own Special Box

Here are the options available under this setting:

1. Products
   • Select which products you’d like to offer sample functions for. Possible options:
     1. All products: Add sample pricing for all products.
     2. Sample offer for some products only: Select specific products to provide samples for. Adjust the following information:
        • Custom Title
        • SKU
        • Price
     3. Sample offer for some product filters by Product Tags: Add tags and set prices for those tags.
     4. Sample offer for some product filters by Product Types: Add product types and set prices for those types.
        
2. Advanced Settings
   • Samples box visibility: Choose where to show the samples box.
     • Show Samples box on all pages
     • Show Samples box on filtered products only
   • Minimum Samples set: Specify the minimum number of samples required.
   • Limit samples per order: Enable or disable and set the maximum number of samples per order.
   • Limit samples per customer: Enable or disable and set the maximum number of samples per customer and refresh period in days.
   • Shipping Rate: Choose from:
     • Default
     • Free Shipping
     • Custom (Custom Rate and Price)
       
3. Design Settings
   • Customize the button background and text color.
   • Choose the box design.
     
4. Translation
   • Customize all widget texts and error messages.

Option 2: Show Samples with Your Cart Items

Here are the options available under this setting:

1. Sample Type
   • Choose the sample type:
     1. Offer a universal sample at the same price for all products: Add sample product title, price, and image URL.
     2. Provide various samples with different prices:
        • Provide samples for select products only: Select products and set prices.
        • Provide samples for specific products based on product tags: Add tags and set prices and image URLs.
        • Provide samples for specific products based on product types: Add types and set prices and image URLs.
          
2. Advanced Settings
   • Redirect Options: Choose where to redirect:
     • Checkout
     • Cart
     • Cart Drawer
   • Hide Sample Name: Hide sample names in the cart or checkout page.
   • Multiple Samples: Allow users to add multiple samples to the cart at once.
   • Limit samples per order: Enable or disable and set the maximum number of samples per order.
   • Limit samples per customer: Enable or disable and set the maximum number of samples per customer and refresh period in days.
   • Limit samples per product: Enable or disable and set the maximum number of samples per product. Options:
     • All Products
     • Selected Products: Select one or more products.
   • SKU Options: Enable or disable and choose between:
     • Default product SKU
     • Custom SKU: Edit the SKU of the product.
   • Shipping Rate: Choose from:
     • Default
     • Free Shipping
       
3. Design Settings
   • Customize the button background and text color.
     
4. Translation
   • Customize all widget texts and error messages.
